We read a story in Languaje Through Literature with Vicky Gregov about the eruption of Mt. St Helen in Washington, this happened on May , 18, 1980.
An " Historical Narrative " is a story that is baced on a real thing or event.

Beginning	Middle	End
-The Mt.St.Helen erupted on May , 18  ,  1980 -Jerry Wheeler and David Johnston were there when the eruption occured.Wheeler survived and Johnston died. -The magma had been rising and pushing inside the mountain , making it expand until the breaking point.	-57 people died -The forest was totally destroyed -Steam, smoke and ashes came out of the mountain covering everything that was near. -Works , shops and school were closed - Many species died -Everything was black -A huge crater was left on top of the mountain	Gophers worked like plows bringing the rich  soil to the surface -The forest will take many years to racover

This is a good story because is short.
